Gen. Pervez Musharraf gives up army uniform

Today, it is a great day in the history of Islami Jamhuria Pakistan. Gen. Pervez Musharraf stepped down as Pakistan’s military commander Wednesday, fulfilling a key opposition demand a day before he was to be sworn in as civilian president.
Now, he is not more Gen. in uniform. he is the history of past as a Pakistan army chief.

Musharraf was 13th chief of Pakistan army. which is the best army over the world. In his last address to army as chief, he said, “I am proud to be a part of this family (army). I have commanded a world’s best army for nine (9) years.
Gen Pervez Musharraf has handed over the command of the military in a ceremony in Rawalpindi to Gen. Ashfaq Pervez Kayani. Ashfaq Pervez Kayani is the 14th chief of Pakistan army.
Some information of Gen. Ashfaq Kiyani
Education:
- Kiyani received his education from Military College Jhelum and was commissioned in the Baloch Regiment in August 1971.
- He has held many important military appointments throughout his career. He is a graduate of the Command and Staff College Quetta, Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, US and National Defence College, Islamabad.
