It should be in little brief that why Hindus celebrate Diwali worldwide and what are the food recipes special sweets of Diwali and what are the other activities. You can also visit our temples specially Swami Narayan Mandir opposite City Court M.A. Jinnah Road where Diwali is being celebrated with fire crackers. Furthermore I would also like to inform you that people are not allowed to sell the fire crackers I dont know why as it is a festival and of clay lamps (diyas) and fire crackers please also put some light on it why we are not allowed openly to celebrate this festival why there are restrictions let the people know via media that its the festival of Hindus who are living in Pakistan and they are celebrating Diwali with full freedom.

Thank you very much for providing us live news every time. I wish to draw your kind attention towards the fact that yesterday I personally visited the Cow Bazar (Mawaishi Mandi) at Super Highway which is likely to start and the pets for Qurbani are being taken now from all over Pakistan. Qurbani is the great sunnah of our Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) and Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) and those who are travelled far to provide us the pets for Qurbani are the great contributors of the sunnah. But I was really shocked after seeing that the people carrying pets from different cities are being charged not only heavy amounts of octrio but also charged huge bhatta for giving them a place to stand their valuable pets for Qurbani. Beside this, the misery is that water is still not provided to them. The authority of Mawaishi Mandi also charge Rs. 10 to Rs. 50 to the visistors also but they donot initiate to provide any facitlity not only for man but also for innocent pets.
Please provide them water for living.

Express is a gr8 channel for sure.

I have read several comments above and I don’t know why we people are so COWARD and why we people are so Uncooperative that we are looking for Media’s support but why we cant support n help each other. I guess the better thing is to change yourself and try to do something on your own rather than depending on others.

Still there are tons of areas where our MEDIA iz not focusing.We have lack of knowledge , education,jobs in PAK but no one talk about it.

There are jobs but only for the referred candidates not for the ones who deserve this. There are scholarships in Pak but not for those who really deserves all this. There are funds to support poor people who no one cares about that.

Our people are more RICH as compared to the GOVT.

So better make yourself better.

It is just a dream for me to see PAKiz standing shoulder to shoulder wid each other. Everyone , not just in PAk even in Abroad ,we Pakiz are so selfish and don’t support other Pakistanis. We should atleast learn gud things from INDIANs n Other PEOPLE, because they have VISION (which we don’t have so far, GOD knows when we will have one), they are very cooperative to each other and have very strong communities abroad and even in their countries.

It is really heartening to see that some very good programs are on air vis-a-vis mumbai terror. some good comments and suggestions are coming through and our media has been very responsible by giving measured response to a very irresponsible reporting by indian media. it is so convenient for the indians to ignore their own “home grown” terroists organisations. e.g. it was in the news that about 40% of india is facing some kind of separatists movements and they are not paying any attention to it. samjota express case is a fine example. if indians cant control their own affairs it is their fault and not anybody else. it is so funny to hear the stories coming from india how the mumbai attacks were planned. if indians cant control their cities how can they control their own nuclear assets?.

we as a nation are ready to face any onslaught no matter whre it is coming from. we will fight to the end to safeguard our freedom. we have not forgotton the huge sacrifice laid down by the generation that fought and gave us PAKISTAN. we will not let their sacrifice go down the drain INSHALLAH. we as a nation ahve always risen at the need of the hour like we rose during the earth quake period. i have nodoubt we can do it again if the need arises. Let us do what is required, “unite and fight” the odds against us either inside or outside the country.

I don’t believe in you anymore. You took off ‘Kal Tak’ why? Only because Zaid Hamid countered Bharat Verma’s accusations just as our government should have? Or because you’ll negative ratings from US and India? If Pakistanis can’t put up and defend their own case on their own TV channels then who would? LK Advani? Perhaps.
If proper decorum was in question then what to say of Mr. Bharat Verma’s onslaught, where he was short of getting abusive while talking about Pakistan and Pakistanis on an other programme on Geo. Why are we so defensive? Zaid Hamid maybe an emotional personal but that’s precisely what we are missing today.

the bottom line in the comments of all Pakistanis is that they are all concerned about the current state of affairs. but giving up is not an option, we all should remember how we got this country. there was a generation that dreamt Pakistan and than they struggled for freedom and than laid their lives for us. it is time to rise to the occassion and have the same spirit to repeat our history if it is required. as muslims, we should never give up, if we look back at our history, it is full with the rise of muslims after downfalls. so no need to be pessimistic, let us all ask our Creator for forgiveness through namaz daily without miss and ask for HIS help the way Hazrat Muhammad SALW asked at the time of Battle of Badar and have faith in Allah Subhan Tallah for help. what is missing from our duas is ‘faith”. we all need to get together by offering namaz and keeping our Masjids full all the time. if we can keep our masjids full Allah Subhan Tallah will protect our homes.

( Bravo !!! ). i’ve been watching bbc news and sky news since i’m in UK but since i found the weblink for express news i’m not bothered with other channels. Being a pakistani i’m always anxious to find out what is happening within my beloved Country and i’d say express news has done a brilliant job by bringing latest news and good thing the news are coming straightaway whenever and whereever anything happens.

Dear Sir,
I am regular viewer of your TV channel, today I was watching a survey about Governor Raj in Punjab on a TV channel, it is based on only 2000 peoples in all Provinces, I just want to share an idea, if all or at least major TV channels coordinately provide a platform where public can give their opinions by SMS, these major TV channels should arrange combined system of voting where every person can contribute through single free SMS to give his views about major current issues of our country.
Public should undergo the process of voting through common address, your computerized system should not accept more than one free SMS form the single number, if it does so you should charge 5 or 10 RS as penalty.
May be this process can establish new ways of democracy, in which one or two million people could provoke the government to go right way.

I am a Shahnai Player and have pride to be one of pupils of Ustad Bismillah Khan (late) from India.

While I watch some news to solve wonderful problem
I think of the solution to my problem. I am passing the age of 70 but can blow the Shahnai like a young man. Ver much impressed with reach, news and the camera quality. I always prefer this channel for my awareness. But this is a real disaster and unfortunate that this channel has hired Mubbashir Luckman, he served as minister in Musharaf’s interim government, his opinion cannot be taken as neutral. His way of asking question is irritating, humiliating and has the art to convert every positive thing into negative. Last night’s show “Ponit Blank” with Imran Khan is a classic example of drawing a dead body from the grave with a question “wheather Imran was given an offer as PM by Musharraf or not?”. People of Pakistan has no interest in this debate at all but Express Channel might have made lot of money from this. This program was designed to insult a highly respected true Pakistani through a bully like Mubbashir Luckman. Who funded Express Channel to defame a hero? people of Pakistan need to find it out. This is an un ethical buisness aproach by this channel, all calls picked were designed aganist one person. People of Pakistan are not fools and a person like Mubbashir Luckman will add bad name to the channel I am sure. Good luck

Not like who is a lyier Imran Khan or Musharif? a nine years old story and please stop humiliating people through a bully like Mubbashir Luckman. since the express news channel opened i feel that there is a one mistake.the mistake that is in the opening or start news the news anchor doesn’t say assalam o alaikum. it is a big mistake because some time they are say and some time not.

dear sir,

im writing this comment to tell u about the miserable accident that took place on 7th dec 2009 at kalar kahar steepy turn , a toyota hiace was rushing downwards and a family car [fx] was going up the hilly turn … and hiace smashed into the fx and a person naming muhammad ishaque an employee of radio pakistan hajj complex rawalpindi,he died at the spot while three others were brutally injured and police isnt taking actions on the case and its benefiting the driver … police should register 2 cases as it was a case of hit and run also murder case . at the event hospitality services were provided to the 3 injurd peoples but unfortunately the hospital officials may be female official took gold ear rings of the patient naming mrs ishaque and gold ear rings were costly it was founded that they had cost 60 000 rupees . aftr the funeral of mr ishaque her widow was admitted in the holy family hospital where no medical aid was provided then they were taken to the navial hospital islamabad and again the result was the same ,her arm bone was fractured and many other bruses on face ,then day before yesterday she was admitted to cmh hospital …where no room was available but when one of there relative talked wisely to the staff then they said that the patient have to be operated on this coming friday 11 th dec 2009 but an emergency was operated first which came via helicopter from WANA…..finally the operation has been delayed till the operation of the emergencies , if not then the patient might be operated next week . i would like to say that these ….are the services that have been provided to a widow of an radio pakistan official even all the following hospital “cmh,navial,holy family are on there panel but again the delays .Iwould like to state that look at the situation the family is needy so the driver should compensate 3 lacs for the victimsand the kids who cant bring there father back but atleast hope to study and support there family ,

our leaders should look aftr the delayed services provided to the victims of any accident !

My first point is why in Pakistan everything is going back/negative
Our whole generation why not taking a step about these all elements
1-Corruption
2-Petrol price
3-Cng Gas shortage
4-Job less level increasing
5-No big project in construction in Pakistan
6-Bomb Blast in Pakistan
7-Our Leader are quite no one want to do something good for Pakistani
8-Poor Ness level is increasing
9-Theft cases increasing
10-Suddend Death Increasing (Accidents)
Is we are right on our way is we are doing good
1. All police person blocks the Roads and peoples why quite is it way to find criminals
2. All Police and Officers take money in Cases
3. A normal students don’t respects olders
4.A common man don’t use traffic rule always want to go in less time not thinking he breaks traffic rules
5. A shop keeper cell sugar on high rates as he take it low prices from store
6. A patrol pump organization block sale when they know its prices are increasing
7. A rich person does not want to do any help of poor persons
8. Our Resources not using on proper rite way
9. Why we not weep when peoples died in bomb blast we should know in future our brother also can b die in that
!0.Why police does not help in crime case they give opposite reaction they give troubles poor person who already lost his money or Life
